Triplicity (with a ‘y’) is any group of three things. In astrology, it is specifically a group of three signs belonging to the same element. Tripliciti (with an ‘i’) is a group of three fingerstyle guitarists: Andy McKee, Calum Graham and Trevor Gordon Hall. All three are consummate masters of their instrument; together, they create modern acoustic guitar music at the very pinnacle of the art.

The band’s self-titled album contains 11 instrumental tracks. Every one is a delight. Steel strings ring like bells chiming; melodic lines weave conversations between the players. At times the mood is joyful, at times it is peaceful and soothing. And all the while a spellbinding story is being told.
