Going back to the corner where I first saw you.

Gonna camp in my sleeping bag, I’m not gonna move.
It’s a bit late for Valentine’s Day, but this is one of the most romantic songs ever written. The Man Who Can’t Be Moved is a single released by the Irish pop-rock band, The Script, in 2008. It got to number 2 on the pop charts in the U.K. and Ireland, and made the top 5 in Denmark, Israel, Belgium and Japan. In the U.S. it only peaked at 86 on the Billboard Hot 100, but that just proves that the record-buying public over there have no taste! π
The link here is to the acoustic version. If anything, I think I prefer it to the original, electric, full band release. Using just acoustic piano and vocals, it strips away the fluff to reveal the underlying beauty of the song. But both versions are exquisite.
The Script will be on tour in the U.K. this summer, including appearances at the Isle of Wight Festival in June and Glastonbury in August.
