Phantom Limb

If a ghost loses an arm or a leg, would he still feel the pain of a phantom limb?

That’s a tongue-in-cheek rhetorical question – I don’t believe in ghosts – but perhaps the Swedish band, Hooffoot, would like to tell us why they chose to call their latest album, Phantom Limb. That probably does have an answer. Or we could just enjoy what they describe as “an eclectic blend of prog/kraut/folk/jazz rock”.

The music on this album is undoubtedly progressive rock: not so much the archetypal style of Genesis, Yes or King Crimson, but more the Canterbury sound of Camel, Caravan and Zopp. And it’s 5-star good!
